iPad Still Problematic ...

SAN FRANCISCO, Use brand names as iPad tablet device made by Apple is still problematic. The trademark is still hotly contested many companies. At least five companies that claim, other than Apple, there are Fujitsu, Siemens, Coconut Grove Pads, and MagTek.

"To our knowledge these names belong to us," said Masahiro Yamane, a spokesman for Fujitsu, quoted by the New York Times, Thursday (28/1/2010). He said it already knew Apple plans to use the mark before and have shown the power of law to take care of it.

Fujitsu iPad name was registered as a trademark since 2003. The name is used for handheld devices that help managers of retail stores to check prices and availability of goods at any time.

Fujitsu iPad working with the Microsoft CE.NET operating system, 3.5 inch touch sailing, and use Intel processors. He has WiFi and Bluetooth as well as phone support via the Internet (VoIP).

"Mobile is also a keyword for Fujitsu iPad. With iPad, workers no longer need to always be in front of the computer. Everything can be done in the grip of his hand," Yamane said.
